Black and white pictures that get color and brightness under the sunlight is the theme of the 56th edition of Visionaire. The most exclusive Fashion and Art Magazine in the world keeps showing that there are no limits to creativity.

Launched in partnership with Calvin Klein, the new Visionaire, entitled as "Solar", it's using a special ink for the first time. You just have to put the pages under the sunlight, which reacts to sunlight, turning black and white pictures to colorful.

Unseen Guy Bourdin Exhibition at The Wapping Project

The legendary photographer Guy Bourdin is being honored in the "unseen Guy Bourdin" exhibition, in London's gallery The Wapping Project, until July 4. The exhibition includes pictures of Bourdin never exposed to the public before, including 32 works of his last parisian stage. At the exhibition there are some of his classic images that were published in fashion magazines. In many of those photos it shows Nicolle Meyer, the muse of Bourdin between 1977 and 1980.

Bio: Guy Bourdin (1928-1991) was one of the most famous fashion and advertising photographers during the second half of the twentieth century. He shared his taste for controversy and style with his colleague Helmut Newton, but the audacity and narrative power of his images exceed the limits of conventional advertising photography.

Gucci supports HOME: Frida Giannini designs a special edition T-Shirt

Gucci is supporting HOME (which I told you about a couple of days ago - press here), the unique cinematic environmental film directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and funded by Guccy parent company the PPR Group.

Home takes an unprecedented approach in exploring the current state of the planet through aerial images filmed in more than 50 countries around the world, with the objective being the increased awareness of major environmental and social challenges facing humankind.

In honor of the film, Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini (on the picture) has designed a special, limited edition T-shirt which will be sold in select Gucci stores worldwide and on gucci.com. Extending the message of sustaiability, Giannini designed the T-shirt using 100% organic cotton and natural dyes in recyclable packaging.

The design: it features the official HOME logo in which Giannini has integrated the iconic Gucci "GG" symbol, while the back includes the names of each country featured in the film. A white canvas bag with the HOME logo in gold accompanies the T-shirt.

On sale from May 25 the T-shirt will be available in both men's and women's sizes, with all profits donated to Goodplanet.org, a non-profit association created by Arthus-Bertrand in 2005.

Maison Chaplin recommends: "Un Jour à Paris"

I have descovered a photoblog named "Un Jour à Paris" ("A day in Paris"). Nothing obvious, no clichés. The photographer Cyril Genty is the author and he puts only pictures of Paris. Every day he puts a new one and none is passing unnoticed. It's scenes that anyone could see walking around the town but he portrays it in a very different way! Very inspiring! Check out more pictures by visiting UnJourAParis.com.

HOME - a film by Wann Arthus-Bertrand

HOME is an ode to the planet's beauty and its delicate harmony. Through the landscapes of 54 countries captured from above, Yann Arthus-Bertrand takes us on an unique journey all around the planet, to contemplate it and to understand it. But HOME is more than a documentary with a message, it is a magnificent movie in its own right.

Every breathtaking shot shows the Earth - our Earth - as we have never seen it before. Every image shows the Earth's treasures we are destroying and all the wonders we can still preserve. "From the sky, there's less need for explanations". Our vision becomes more immediate, intuitive and emotional.

HOME has an impact on anyone who sees it. It awakens in us the awareness that is needed to change the way we see the world. (HOME embraces the major ecological issues that confront us and shows how everything on our planet is interconnected.

By bringing us unique footage from the Earth and sharing with us his wonder and his concern, Yann Arthus-Bertrand lays a foundation stone for the world that, together, we must rebuild. The film HOME intends to shift people's perceptions, to make us aware of the tectonic movements at work and to incite us to act.

More than a movie, HOME will be a major event around the globe: for the first time ever, a film will be released on the same day in over 50 countries.

June 5th 2009, World Environment Day has been chosen as the highly symbolic date for this simultaneous, and free of charge, release on every format: movie theatre, TV, DVD and Internet. The aim of director Yann Arthus-Bertrand, distributor Luc Besson and François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of PPR, the film's official sponsor, is to reach the widest possible audience, and to convince us all of our individual and collective responsibility towards the planet.

Dsquared² - photoshoot of the Fall/Winter/09/10 campaign

Dsquared² - Fall/Winter/09/10 Runway Show

These are my favourite looks of the Winter 09/10 collection by Dsquared². I totally love the dresses, I think that Dean and Dan are great dress creators and I think that they should work further on these kind of products. Plus,
just look at the details that show you how you can wear a leather jacket and a dress for an elegant party. You can do that when you're on your way to a party or after the party, for example. It's totally different outfits but they
combine extremely well. And the colors, are just beautiful. You almost never see any shining color on winter
collections, but they did it, and the final result is excellent.
About the men's collection, I don't find it this special. At all! I remember to have seen these kind of outfits in
previous collections. Maybe the suits are my favourite looks, I really love them all.

Dsquared² - Backstage of Fall/Winter/08/09 Runway Show

Maison Chaplin presents Gonzalo Bènard: photographer and painter

Living and working in Spain, Portuguese born artist G. Bènard explores the power and influence of memory in his work.

Surreal, occasionally bizarre, provocative, conceptual, often ironic, G. Bènard mixes cultures, rites and rituals, life and death. Encompassing everything human his work speaks of faith, sex, spirit and what it is to be alive and trying to make sense of a world that cannot make sense of itself.

Ewan McGregor in Neil Barrett at “Angels & Demons” premiere in Rome

The actor Ewan McGregor is one of the protagonists of the new movie "Angels & Demons", which is going to hit cinemas this weekend. He chose to wear Neil Barrett for all interviews during the press days and premiere which took place in Rome on Monday May 4th.

The collaboration between the actor and the designer started many years ago and has been consistent ever since. In the american magazine "Best Life", Mcgregor said "Neil Barrett is my favourite designer and in fact, the only designer I like to wear. I'm very loyal to him. There's a little bit of punk in what he does, but It's also very elegant. His clothing can be quite dressy without making you feel like you're dressed up."

MAISON CHAPLIN EXCLUSIVE: Marlon Teixeira photoshoot for Sergio K., by Terry Richardson

Maison Chaplin was sent in exclusive at first hand from the Sergio K team itself the photoshoot of Brazilian top model Marlon Teixeira (who was Dior Homme’s exclusive) for Sergio K, clicked by Terry Richardson.

The Sergio K. man is interpreted by Marlon and caught by Terry Richardson’s eyes, living in a palace but yet not a little prince. The whole environment does not change his way of being. He is a family man linked to all his traditions and does not pretend to leave his house so early. Practices sports, works and studies to then find his real retreat at home where his room is his refuge. He is cool and low profile as the 2009 collection is.
