Happy anniversaries in 2010 to Haute Horlogerie: A. Lange & Söhne, Chanel, Chopard, Corum and TAG Heuer

In 2010, A. Lange & Söhne, Chanel, Chopard, Corum and TAG Heuer are commemorating the anniversary of their establishment or of iconic models.
Chopard is marking this milestone with four new proprietary movements. A. Lange & Söhne, Chanel and Corum present special editions of emblematic models, while TAG Heuer incorporates the oscillating pinion into its 1887 chronograph calibre.

A. Lange & Söhne

A. Lange & Söhne commemorates its 165th anniversary with the three exceptional models in the Homage to Ferdinand A. Lange collection: the Tourbograph "Pour le Mérite", the Lange 1 Tourbillon with stop seconds, and the 1815 Moonphase.

Ten years ago, Chanel made its mark with the unveiling of the black J12, brought to life by Jacques Helleu. This iconic watch would give noble status to ceramic, now a mainstay of contemporary watchmaking. This year, Chanel introduces an authentic complication with its Rétrograde Mystérieuse J12.

Chopard is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2010, a milestone which the Manufacture is commemorating with an animal-inspired collection of Fine Jewellery and four new proprietary mechanical movements.

At Corum, two emblematic models have cause to celebrate this year, with the 50th anniversary of the Admiral's Cup and the 30th anniversary of the Golden Bridge. 2010 is also the 55th year since Corum was established.

TAG Heuer

TAG Heuer is marking 150 years of performance and excellence in Swiss watchmaking with the launch of its own movement, the Calibre 1887, and theCarrera 1887 Automatic Chronograph.
