Exhibition "Paco Rabanne, Designer and Rebel" at Estoril FashionArt Festival (Lisbon)



Estoril FashionArt Festival 2010 presents the "Paco Rabanne, Designer and Rebel" exhibition at the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum. A retrospective of 16 essential pieces to understand the career and personality of the iconic Paco Rabanne. The Estoril FashionArt Festival will run from 30 June to 4 July, 2010.

O Estoril FashionArt Festival 2010 apresenta no Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães a exposição "Paco Rabanne, Designer and Rebel". Uma retrospectiva de 16 peças essenciais para compreender a carreira e a personalidade do icónico Paco Rabanne. O Estoril FashionArt Festival vai acontecer de 30 de Junho a 4 de Julho de 2010.

L'Estoril FashionArt Festival 2010 présente l'exposition "Paco Rabanne, Designer and Rebel" au Musée Condes de Castro Guimarães. Une rétrospective de 16 pièces essentielles pour comprendre la carrière et la personnalité de le célèbre Paco Rabanne. L'Estoril FashionArt Festival se passera du 30 juin au 30 juillet 2010.



Its plastic and metal dresses were worn by music and movie stars as Françoise Hardy, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Fonda. The emblematic piece worn by Audrey Hepburn in the movie "Two for the Road" will be present at the exhibition "Paco Rabanne, Designer and Rebel".

Os seus vestidos de plástico e metal foram usados por estrelas da música e do cinema como Françoise Hardy, Brigitte Bardot e Jane Fonda. A emblemática peça usada por Audrey Hepburn no filme "Two for the Road" estará presente na exposição "Paco Rabanne, Designer and Rebel".

Ses vêtements en plastique et métal ont été habillés par les stars de la musique et le cinéma comme Françoise Hardy, Brigitte Bardot et Jane Fonda. La pièce emblématique portée par Audrey Hepburn dans le film "Two for the Road" sera présente à l'exposition "Paco Rabanne, Designer and Rebel".

  1. Fantastic work. Thanks for sharing and reminding us of the greatness of Paco Rabanne. Françoise Hardy explains in her biography how one of her Paco Rabanne dress was so heavy that it was actually lengthening over time: the weight of the metal pulled down the metal links. She was doing shows at the Savoy in those days and Paco Rabanne or his employees had to come and see her to adjust the dress on her regularly!
