Il Sistema Degli Oggetti is the creative child of designers Alessandro Manzi, Anna Lottersberger and Caterina Coccioli. Taking inspiration from nature, but giving in to their dark inclinations, Il Sistema Degli Oggetti’s sophomore collection presents their notion of sexless fashion in a relaxed manner.
Evolving from slouchy garments cut from mesh, a modern uniform takes shape around loose shirting and trousers that manage to find the balance between both a baggy and ultimately chic fit. Altogether, a certain charm resonates through the collection’s ability to offer classics that are reinterpreted with a great subtlety that adds to a progressive school of style.

Maison Martin Margiela opening boutique in Miami store
Maison Martin Margiela has opened its 19th boutique, this time in Miami, Florida.
The boutique interiors draws on the prolific and iconographic use of whites, like the furniture, objects, fabrics and textures, old and new style. Furniture and architectural elements re-interpreted have been brought in from Paris to build on the space’s personality. Each area of the boutique is a distinct and unique space which uses elements of the Maison such as printed wood floors and tromp l’oeil effects.
Maison Martin Margiela a ouvert sa 19ème boutique, cette fois à Miami, en Floride.
Les intérieurs de la boutique s'appuie sur l'utilisation prolifique et iconographique des Blancs, comme sur les meubles, les objets, les tissus et les textures, style anciens et nouveaux. Le mobilier et des éléments architecturaux réinterprété ont été apportés de Paris pour construire la personnalité du lieu. Chaque zone de la boutique est un espace distinct et unique qui utilise des éléments de la Maison comme les planchers "bois" imprimés et les effets tromp l'oeil.

'BLACK. Masters of Black in Fashion & Costume' exhibition in MoMu, Antwerp
MoMu’s newest exhibition illustrates the historic phases of the colour black, with examples from painting, historic costume and contemporary fashion. It also looks more deeply into the textures and the potentials of black in diverse materials, including fur, leather and lace. In addition, the exhibition includes masterpieces by contemporary designers who, like the city of Antwerp, have a special connection to black.
La nouvelle exposition du MoMu illustre les étapes historiques de la couleur noire avec des exemples du monde de la peinture, du costume historique et de la mode contemporaine. Elle explore également plus en détail la texture et les possibilités avec les différentes matières comme la fourrure, le cuir et la dentelle. Elle comprend aussi des grandes pièces de certains créateurs contemporains qui partagent avec la ville d’Anvers un rapport spécial avec le noir.
