DARMAKI Fall 2011 by Sultan Al Damarki

The Autumn Winter 2011 heralds the birth of the couture footwear brand DARMAKI, my latest finding and for sure a brand that you will see here very often from now on.
Amazonia shoes

Launched during Paris Fashion Week in March 2011, DARMAKI, created by Sultan Al Damarki, harmonises artistic and cultural influences with the excellence of superior Italian manufacturing, culminating in an inspiring blend of exotic materials and breathtaking array of specially selected stone settings.

Diva shoes

DARMAKI’s imaginative debut collection combines delicate details and refined textures paying close attention to exciting surface elements and exquisitely hand crafted leather effects. Classic stiletto heels are married with luxe skins to create a truly distinguished collection which conveys DARMAKI’s aura of exclusivity, luxury and bespoke quality. Drawing inspiration from multiple sources, the collection emulates a variety of themes celebrating femininity, glamour and sophistication.
Roxy shoes

Caged strapping is adorned with onyx like stones exuding opulent glamour in Alex, whilst beaten gold studs give a contemporary edge to strappy sandals such as Roxy.

Arabesque shoes

Meticulously hand-placed crystals and two tone jungle cock feathers embellish high rise ankle cuffs in Amazonia, reminiscent of exotic lands far away.
Classic courts in monochrome colourways are provocatively incorporated with exquisite laser cut motifs, creating a more refined couture look while displaying the naked foot to superb effect in Arabesque.

Lydia shoes

Witty cut out heels can be found in Shad and Breathe hinting at a quirky twist, whilst metallic hand-treated leathers and piping are combined with sumptuous satins and pearls, creating an elegant and feminine boudoir look in Lulu and Sanaa.
Suede ankle boots injected with bold shades of fuchsia, green and ochre yellow, flirt with mock lace up detail, pearls and ruffles - Durra and Victoria are the embodiment of playful, feminine styling at its very finest.
