Ermenegildo Zegna launches “Zegna in_STORE” in Paris

Enter “Zegna in_STORE”, an immersive 3D digital portal where visitors can enjoy a real life spatial and visual shopping experience. For the first time fashion connects with Hollywood visual effects, revolutionary website design and video games: it is a cooperation of 4 industries working together to create a revolutionary concept of online shopping, an innovative shopping environment where technological invention is the support structure to storytelling. Designed by James Lima, “Zegna in_STORE” offers a completely new way to shop online.

Upon entering the store, customers are greeted by model/actress Milla Jovovich, who explains the easy functionality of the site. A launch film shows the architectural context of the floating building which offers several floors for customers to navigate.

“Zegna in_STORE” is also supporting the charity Artists for Peace & Justice, an organization where Milla Jovovich sits on the Advisory Board. APJ encourages peace and social justice in communities around the world, addressing issues of poverty and enfranchisement. On the June 23rd “Zegna in_STORE” launch event, all proceeds went to Milla’s cause and a 10% of all sales from June 23rd to Dec 31st will also be donated.

The “Zegna in_STORE” is a multi device application formatted and displayed for laptop, live show, mobile phone, iPad, etc. Tap MAP and a 3D bird’s eye view of each floor of “Zegna in_STORE” becomes visible. Tap NAVIGATE to open a slide show scroll, tap one of the slide show images and instantly the customer is there looking at shoes, for example. Simply tap BUY to purchase.
