The installation is divided in two phases. In the first one, we can see the rear end of the MINI Paceman as a sculpture, a chromed car about to embark on its metamorphosis. As seen below, the components of the car seem to fly apart


In the second phase, the MINI Paceman crosses a boundary in the middle of the room. The front end of the car turns into paper, getting a new physical form. The use of paper symbolises the "prototyping" of a creative process and as such opens up the possibility of drawing on its two-dimensionality to represent a new three-dimensional sculpture.
